Snow groomers, rollers, snowcats, snow blowers – they all have one thing in common: wide tracks for optimal weight distribution and minimal ground pressure.
These high-performance machines require regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs – which means lifting is essential. Especially in winter conditions with snow and mud, lifting technology must withstand tough environments.
The lifting technology must be resistant to the harsh environmental conditions.
The hydraulic lifting systems for snow grooming vehicles from JAB feature special design elements. The load-bearing components of the lifts are adapted to the clear internal dimensions between the vehicle’s tracks, allowing for easy and secure lifting of the vehicles.
To ensure full functionality of the snow groomer lifts even in snow, slush, and meltwater conditions, they are equipped with a specially sealed sliding drive – keeping all lift components safely enclosed in a sealed environment. The lifting units and adapters are galvanized for protection. We design our snow groomer lifting technology with all the components necessary to simplify and streamline maintenance management for snow grooming vehicles.

These can be integrated into a wide range of conditions—for example, when installation depth is limited, when there is a high groundwater level, or when a ceiling-mounted installation is required.

JAB offers the modular lift concept MultiRam to meet this need. By establishing a continuous concrete channel, lifts can be repositioned, replaced, or expanded at any time throughout their service life. Load capacities ranging from 3.0 tons to 6.5 tons are provided as standard.

For Your Safety – Hydraulic Perfection
In the application areas of fully hydraulic lifts, JAB’s hydraulics have been developed over many decades into a system that is almost perfect.
In car and van lifts, the lifting unit and hydraulic unit are separate components. This allows a high degree of flexibility during installation.
All JAB commercial vehicle lifts have safety devices: A locking block automatically interrupts any movement if the drive is switched off or fails.
As the hydraulic unit is directly flange-mounted, a pipe rupture is impossible. The directly flange-mounted hydraulic pump, without pipes, is just one example of the particularly high JAB quality standard.
This is built-in safety you can rely on.
Easy retrofitting of lifting platforms in existing buildings – no problem
Telescopic or Plunger Cylinders
For new buildings or stable ground, the plunger cylinders are the best and most cost-effective solution.
For retrofitting or shallow foundations, or at water protection zones with a high water table, telescopic cylinders with only 1,280 mm depth are ideal.
The retrofitting of lifting platforms in floor ceilings
Telescopic lifting platforms provide the perfect basis for here. The necessary ceiling breakthrough for this is achieved by drilling core holes. This has only a minimal effect on the ceiling statics. Load-bearing plates optimally distribute the resulting forces when using the lift.
Lifting units in Steel-Cassettes
For retrofitting in existing halls or pits, pre-assembled JAB lifting units can be effectively integrated into (self-supporting) steel-cassettes.
The lifting platform is supplied pre-assembled in self-supporting steel cassettes and can be easily inserted into the prepared foundation.
If required, the steel-cassettes can be supplied with an inspection certificate in accordance with the German Water Resources Act (WHG), as JAB is a certified specialist company under WHG regulations.
This design can also be installed without difficulty into existing pits, provided a minimum depth of 1,280 mm is available.
